Fisher Phillips Adds 10-Attorney Labor And Employment Team In Mexico - Pulse 2.0

Fisher Phillips has expanded its Mexico operation with the addition of Partner Jaime Rodríguez Eguiarte and nine other attorneys in Mexico City, significantly increasing the size of the firm’s labor and employment practice in the country.

Rodríguez brings more than 15 years of experience advising domestic and multinational companies on Mexican labor and employment matters.

He is joined by Alonso de la Vallina Subero, Diana Vazquez Campos, Arturo Hidalgo Velasco, Mariana Hernandez Ayala, Alan Antonio Olivares Rivera, Jorge Luis Perez Cruz, Ernesto Ramirez Rivera, Juan Pablo Trinidad Gutierrez and Lino Parrales Martinez.

Fisher Phillips said the 10-lawyer addition makes it one of the largest labor and employment law firms in Mexico by attorney headcount.

Rodríguez previously led labor and employment practices at international AmLaw 100 firms.

Most recently, he led the Labor and Employment practice at a full-service firm, where he worked closely with transactional teams on labor contingencies and risk mitigation related to M&A and asset acquisitions.

His practice encompasses individual and collective litigation, collective bargaining, profit sharing, employer substitution and workforce transfers associated with mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs.

He also advises clients on expatriate hiring, labor inspections, compliance with Mexican employment regulations, human resources policies, sexual harassment, non-discrimination and whistleblowing policies.
