Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Scott C. Oberlander has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Philadelphia office.
Scott is an employment litigator with a focus on representing businesses in matters involving employee recruitment, raiding, and trade secrets. He was most recently at a national firm where he counseled employers regarding the drafting and enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality provisions. Scott also litigated restrictive covenant and trade secret cases across numerous industries, in addition to handling general employment disputes and administrative actions. And, earlier in his career, he gained valuable litigation experience as an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm and a mid-Atlantic full-service firm where he represented companies in employment and other commercial disputes across a wide range of industries.
At Fisher Phillips, Scott will be an integral part of the firm’s Employee Defection and Trade Secrets (EDTS) Practice Group representing employers in restrictive covenant and trade secrets matters in state and federal court. As a member of this group, he will craft and help implement robust frameworks to anticipate, prevent, and detect employee theft and carelessness, and he will be ready to prosecute and defend companies in contentious non-compete litigation and trade secrets disputes.
