Flor de Cuba has decided to initiate a lawsuit against Alexander Otaola in Miami, accusing him of defamation, as the influencer claims that he has been damaging her reputation on social media for several years with unfounded accusations.
In a video alongside her lawyer from the law firm handling her case, the content creator addressed all her followers.
In recent years, I have been the victim of a defamation campaign primarily led by the communicator Alexander Otaola, who has made false accusations against me, serious accusations: “That I am an agent of the Cuban State Security, that I am involved in pimping, that I am involved in money laundering, that I have been a sex worker for the Cuban government, that I participated in visa corruption for the United States, and that I am a communist with hidden political interests,” the influencer detailed.
All of these claims are utterly false and have harmed my reputation on social media, leading to consequences such as psychological issues, as well as hate, online bullying, and even death threats or boycotts against my personal life or any business I have been seen involved with,” stated Flor de Cuba.
