International students seeking employment authorization in the US can apply to fast-track pending work applications beginning this month, US Citizenship and Immigration Services announced.
The premium processing option will be available to F-1 student visa holders applying for Optional Practical Training, which allows them to work for US employers after graduation for up to three years. Paying an additional $1,500 will allow them to have their work permit application fast-tracked, the agency said Monday.
