CLIFTON — The city has been served with a whistleblower lawsuit by yet another of its former employees.
Last week's lawsuit, filed by former Personnel Director Douglas Johnson, is the fourth to be brought by a former city department head against the city and some of its elected officials.
On July 8, the city received the complaint, which alleges that Johnson was subjected to retaliation because he was a whistleblower and was harassed because he is Black.
