Former Stockton Unified School District board president found guilty of false insurance claim - KCRA

Angelann Flores, a former Stockton Unified School District board president, was found guilty of a false insurance claim charge on Thursday, KCRA 3's Anahita Jafary reports.

Flores was arrested last April and later indicted by a federal grand jury, facing accusations misusing a district credit card after an investigation into allegations of mishandled funds.

While she was found guilty of a false insurance claim, she was found not guilty of embezzlement or misuse of the district credit card.

Flores' attorney, Tori Verber Salazar, tells KCRA 3 they plan to appeal the guilty verdict. Flores declined to comment after the verdict was reached.

A sentencing has been scheduled for Sept. 22, 2025.
