XFL owner Vince McMahon has reached a confidential settlement of claims that he wrongfully fired the league’s ex-CEO Oliver Luck.
The parties reached an agreement last week, according to a motion filed June 17 in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut. Counsel didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
Luck’s complaint sought $23.8 million for wrongful termination after signing a five-year contract with the league in May 2018.
The trial court in September 2021 trimmed some of Luck’s claims after finding McMahon wasn’t a party to the contract.
