The Leaping In the Future Together (LIFT) program is meant to provide children with transportation to schools outside of their district. The bus passes reportedly total roughly $2,000. (WTOC)
  2. Savannah's Higinio Perez-Bravo, 52, is facing a mandatory life sentence after pleading guilty to conspiring to kill a whistleblower who exposed an undocumented worker hiring scheme. The whistleblower blew the whistle on a multi-million-dollar scheme that hired and mistreated those living in the United States illegally.
