From Transparency NJ: Oaklyn Police Officer's Whistleblower ... - South Jersey Observer

Open Government advocate, John Paff of Transparency NJ, reported on February 16, 2023 that the Borough of Oaklyn paid $250,000 in late 2022 to a Borough police officer who claimed that he suffered retaliation after he reported “payroll irregularities” and reported the police chief for allegedly using on-duty officers as chauffeurs.
