AI and the False Claims Act - JD Supra
There’s always a “but” when it comes to AI. It has great potential, but there’s always the risk of bad things happening. In the case of the False Claims Act and healthcare, that’s very much the case.
Sea Watch's claims about rescue operations earlier this week "are false. Frontex claimed the rescue of approximately 100 people from a dangerously overcrowded metal vessel off the coast of Libya and Tunisia."
This is the statement from the European agency in response to the German NGO, which claimed that Frontex had seen the vessel in distress and left. The shipwreck left two children dead and one missing, according to Sea Watch.
"Frontex aircraft were present before, during, and after the rescue, providing real-time air coordination, supporting the ship's crew, and helping save lives," the EU agency said.
