Donald Trump has come under fire for allegedly making no less than 20 misleading remarks during an interview with Elon Musk. Discussing issues from immigration to his latest political competitor, Kamala Harris, the interview took place on Monday.
The interview was streamed live on Musk's digital platform X, but technical hitches soon surfaced, with too many people trying to watch causing the site to crash. This interview coincides with Trump's post-ban comeback to X, which had previously banned him from the platform following the January 6 Capitol riots.
Despite initial hitches that some put down to a "DDOS attack", Trump and Musk got into the nitty-gritty of topics such as crime, the economy, and the environment. A report from Express US highlighted that over the course of their two-hour interview, Trump made at least 20 dubious claims.
One particularly spurious allegation was that President Joe Biden's leadership has seen "millions" of illegal immigrants flood into the States "in a month."
