The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released a video from Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region, which is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff announced this on Facebook and released a video from the 19th Army Corps.
“Kostiantynivka. Video. Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are stationed in various parts of the city and confirm that Kostiantynivka is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces,” the statement reads.
At the same time, the General Staff noted that the Russians continue to attempt infiltration and advances in small groups, but such actions are detected in a timely manner, and the enemy is systematically eliminated by Ukrainian defenders.
As reported by Ukrinform, Major Andrii Kovalyov, a spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that information circulating in the Ukrainian media regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s claim that Russian troops had allegedly captured Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region is not true.
