Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis has condemned as fake a photo circulating online that allegedly depicts him in a “private moment,” warning that anyone claiming the image is authentic will face legal action.

In two social media posts, Georgiadis said he believed the image had been generated using AI.

“Whoever shares this photo and claims it is me will face me in court,” he wrote, adding: “This is how much I hate it.”

The minister also described as “scary” the speed at which what he called false claims surrounding the image had spread online. “We must all now be careful about what we see and what we believe,” he said.
