The 2020 election raised questions and concerns in the minds of voters ranging from the integrity of election procedures to access to the ballot. What, if any, reforms to election law would you support to ensure all Pennsylvania voters have equal access to free, fair, secure elections?

Specifically, I would sign a law to repeal Act 77 and require voter ID. I will appoint a secretary of the commonwealth who is both experienced in conducting elections and fully committed to the rule of law. We must commit ourselves to fair and honest elections. If we can’t trust the vote, there are no winners.

How would you position Pennsylvania to be a leader on environmental issues, including climate change?

The environmental guarantees found in our Pennsylvania Constitution for clean air and pure water are vital to the future of Pennsylvania. As governor, I will appoint cabinet and agency officials committed to the protection of our environment and to good stewardship of our natural resources. Furthermore, I would continue to promote the safe and efficient use of natural gas which has helped to reduce our carbon emissions by nearly 19 percent since 2005.

Some states have acted to restrict the rights of transgender individuals. What is your position on transgender rights?

If an adult chooses to be transgender, that is their individual choice. As a matter of public policy, I do not support boys participating in girls’ sports or having access to women’s restrooms or locker rooms.
