WANA (Apr 18) – The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, wrote on his Twitter account that the President of the United States made seven claims in one hour, all of which are false.
He stated that they did not win the war with these lies and will certainly not achieve anything in negotiations either.
Ghalibaf emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz will not remain open if the blockade continues. He noted that traffic in the Strait will be conducted based on a “designated route” and with “Iranian authorization.”
The Speaker further clarified that the “field” determines whether the Strait is open or closed and its regulations, not social media.
He concluded by stating that media warfare and the engineering of public opinion are a significant part of the war, and the Iranian nation will not be influenced by such tricks.
