The agency of actor Kim Soo-hyun issued a statement following the arrest of Kim Se-ui, representative of Hoverlab, saying, “Finally, through legal procedures and a thorough investigation, the truth has been proven.”

Kim Se-ui is accused of spreading false claims via YouTube and other platforms that Kim Soo-hyun dated the late actor Kim Sae-ron while he was a minor and that Kim Sae-ron’s death was directly caused by Kim Soo-hyun’s pressure to repay debts. He also faces charges of damaging Kim Soo-hyun’s reputation by manipulating Kim Sae-ron’s voice using artificial intelligence (AI). The Seoul Central District Court conducted a warrant review hearing on the 26th and issued a bench warrant, stating, “There are concerns about evidence destruction and flight risk.”
In response, Gold Medalist clarified, “All suspicions and evidence raised by Hoverlab against Kim Soo-hyun have been confirmed as false,” and noted that the court acknowledged the severity of charges including defamation and threats. It added, “Kim Soo-hyun promised at a press conference one year ago, ‘I will not ask you to believe me.
