Governor Moore Announces Appointments to the Prince George's ... - Governor Larry Hogan - Official Website for the Governor of Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Governor Wes Moore today announced appointments to the Prince George’s County Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission. Bridgette Ann Greer will serve as chair.

“The Prince George’s County Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission promotes excellence within Maryland’s judiciary and reflects the abundant legal talent in Prince George’s County,” said Gov. Moore. “I am grateful for all of the appointees’ commitment to serving Prince George’s County and the great state of Maryland.”

There are sixteen Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commissions, established by Executive Order. The commissions advertise judicial vacancies; seek recommendations for judicial candidates from their own membership, bar associations and members of the general public; set closing dates for the submission of judicial applications; and evaluate applicants based on a variety of factors including integrity, temperament, legal knowledge, and professional experience.

Governor Moore’s appointees to the Prince George’s County Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission include:

Bridgette Ann Greer, Chair
Bridgette Greer has served on the Prince George’s County Judicial Nominating Commission under Governors Hogan, O’Malley, and Glendenning. Ms. Greer practices employment law and currently serves as a member of the Prince George’s County Personnel Board.
