GPE said an investigation following a whistleblower’s allegations of manipulation of diversity data has ended with “no findings of unlawful conduct”.
Press reports this summer said the whistleblower had accused the investor-developer of manipulating diversity and inclusion data to increase bonuses.
Its non-executive directors have since overseen an investigation into the allegations, conducted by a law firm, reported to be Addleshaw Goddard.
In a stock exchange statement, the company said: “The investigation concluded that historical bonuses were correctly calculated. Allegations of unlawful conduct by GPE were not substantiated.”
It added: “The investigation confirmed strong support for GPE’s positive culture and highlighted some areas for improvement consistent with GPE’s continuing commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive workplace. These are being addressed by management with oversight from the board.
