Grooming gangs whistleblower hails GB News after raising over £140,000 with fundraiser for victims: 'I am eternally grateful!' - GB News

Grooming gangs whistleblower Maggie Oliver has told GB News she is "eternally grateful" to presenter Patrick Christys after he revealed a new fundraiser to help victims of rape gangs.

As pressure mounts on the Labour Government to launch a national inquiry into the historic abuse suffered by young girls across Britain, GB News presenter Patrick has launched a campaign to raise money for the victims, on behalf of the Maggie Oliver Foundation.

After launching the fundraiser on GoFundMe with an initial target of 100,000, the donations quickly exceeded 140,000.

Discussing the campaign, Patrick told GB News viewers that after deciding "not to do another fundraiser for quite some time", the growing scandal has "taken over events" of recent weeks.

Speaking on his GB News show, Patrick said: "I know this is an issue that GB News viewers and listeners care deeply about.

"It's an issue that I care deeply about, and I wanted to do something that would hopefully last forever. I know the strength of feeling on this issue, and I thought we might as well aim big."

Overcome with emotion, Oliver shared her reaction to the fundraiser, claiming she is "eternally grateful" for the fundraiser as her foundation is "not funded by the state".

Oliver explained: "Right from day one, I have always said this is about the truth. It is about the evidence. It is not about point scoring....
