HACKENSACK — A former city school district employee said her job was wrongfully terminated in retaliation for her association with the former schools superintendent and her whistleblowing activity.
Yesenia Budhu-Howell, the former executive director of human resources for the city's school district, filed a lawsuit against the city Board of Education that states she was a “victim of collateral damage in the board’s efforts to remove their superintendent, and any other non-Hackensack resident the board deemed to be associated with the superintendent.
