Hansen’s practice is focused on class action litigation. He brings experience in securities litigation, corporate and commercial disputes, and regulatory proceedings to his work. He has appeared before the courts and securities tribunals in Ontario and Alberta.
Prior to joining Koskie Minsky, Hansen practiced corporate commercial litigation and later served as litigation counsel at the Ontario Securities Commission, where he worked on investigations and led enforcement proceedings arising from alleged breaches of Ontario securities laws. His experience in civil litigation and regulatory enforcement provides him with a unique perspective that informs his work on securities and other class actions.
