Head of NI Civil service now sets up review of whistleblower scandal – but no mention of immediate suspensions - Belfast Telegraph

The Head of the Civil Service on Friday night moved to set up an independent review of the appalling treatment of a whistleblower – but there was no mention of the officials responsible being immediately suspended or disciplined.

In a letter to all civil servants which this newspaper has seen, Jayne Brady admitted that the reputation of the civil service has taken a battering due to the exposure of how vet Tamara Bronckaers was hounded from her job and then fought for years by the civil service until it agreed to pay her 1.25m compensation three weeks ago.
