Health-care workers who say a staffing firm miscalculated their overtime pay rates secured a federal judge’s final approval for a $900,000 settlement ending their wage-and-hour dispute.
The deal provides nearly $830 on average for class members who worked for CMG CIT Acquisition LLC and Circharo Acquisition LLC, which collectively do business as Core Medical Group. The workers will recover 30% to 75% of their maximum potential damages, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said.
