A federal investigation has found a Houston car wash chain guilty of denying workers more than $100,000 in overtime pay.
The Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division investigated six Houston-area car washes, all operating as Dr. Car Wash Plus, for violating the Fair Labor Standards Act, a national law requiring employers to keep accurate records of workers' hours and to pay at least time and a half for any hours over 40 worked in a week.
