Applications are invited for the above post in the Norfolk and Suffolk Human Resources department at OCC, Wymondham. Working as a HR Advisor in the Policy Reward and Employee Relations team, you will be a key team member supporting the delivery of job evaluation and reward across Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, providing specialist support to other HR colleagues, line managers and other force personnel as required.
You will consider and analyse requests for job evaluation using your knowledge to identify potential grading impacts, alignment opportunities or other possible reward solutions such as career grades, market supplements or alternative recognition options. Working closely with the business, you will advise managers, HR and Finance Business Partners on potential structures or organisational design issues or opportunities. You will undertake job evaluation interviews, analyse the results and present outcomes at consistency checking panels. A close working relationship with UNISON will be a very important part of this role. You will provide advice to managers and colleagues on pay and conditions of service matters, employee relations issues and policies, considering current the Police Staff Council Handbook, Police Regulations, current employment and case law and best practice.
