From the initial privacy allegations to controversies over event participation and now the OST dispute, he appears to repeatedly face setbacks, suggesting he can only regain freedom if all controversies are resolved without leaving a single doubt.
Hwang Young-woong, who rose to prominence through MBN’s *Burning Trotman* in 2023, left the program and apologized for the privacy allegations that erupted ahead of the finals. After additional false career and family-related allegations surfaced, his agency acknowledged and apologized for school violence claims but denied the false family allegations, calling them misunderstandings, and refuted the false career claims.
Three years later, Hwang’s agency completely reversed its initial stance.
