Immigration and Customs Enforcement contractor Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. and a former pharmacy technician settled a lawsuit alleging that the company unlawfully fired her for reporting another employee’s mishandling of pharmaceuticals, according to federal court filings in Texas.
Terms of the settlement between Maxim and Laura Wondercheck weren’t made available.
“We proudly represent whistleblowers across Texas,” and “are proud to have been part of this case,” said Wondercheck’s attorney, Austin Kaplan of Kaplan Law Firm PLLC.. “The dispute has been resolved.”
Counsel for Maxim didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
