An Idaho-based chiropractor and his clinic failed to convince a federal district court to stop the US government’s investigation into whether the clinic defrauded Medicaid.
The US Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho is seeking relevant information into whether False Claims Act violations occurred by asking the chiropractor and his wife to answer questions in an oral examination, Chief Judge David C. Nye of the US District Court for the District of Idaho said in a Monday order denying a petition to quash or modify civil investigative demands.
