Illinois gas station operator Kelley Williamson Co. will pay $75,000 and furnish other relief to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Wednesday.
A female employee at Kelley Williamson’s Byron location was allegedly subjected to sexual advances and crude jokes by a male customer, which was ignored when reported to management by multiple sources, the EEOC said. The store manager also allegedly shared the female employee’s medical information with other employees, according to the agency.
