Indiana’s escape of a lawsuit from a former Department of Child Services employee, who claimed he faced race and sex discrimination when he was fired, was upheld by a federal appeals court Wednesday.
A three-judge panel for the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said Rene Galvan, a self-described large Mexican male, had “no direct evidence that his termination was based on race or sex discrimination.”
