Info Edge (India) shares are likely to be in focus on Monday after the company disclosed a whistleblower complaint alleging policy violations by employees at its real estate arm, 99acres. The development has prompted an independent investigation, raising concerns over governance even as the firm maintains there is no immediate financial impact.

Info Edge said in a Saturday filing that the matter has been referred to its Audit Committee and Board of Directors. A specialist law firm has been appointed “to conduct an independent and comprehensive investigation into the allegations,” the company noted.

The company added that the complaint “will be handled in line with its whistleblower policy, available on its website.” It also stressed that, at present, there is “no material impact on its financial statements.”

Market performance

On Friday, Info Edge shares closed at Rs 1,363.40 on the NSE, down 0.62%. The stock has shed 22% so far in 2025 and is lower by 13% over the past one year, though it gained 1% last week.

From a technical perspective, the stock remains under pressure. It is trading below seven of its eight key simple moving averages, including the 5-day, 20-day, 30-day, 50-day, 100-day, 150-day, and 200-day SMAs. The only exception is the 10-day SMA, which it trades above.
