Join NYC DOHMH as Investigator / Trainer – Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Unit, assignment level III. The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) within the Division of Administration is responsible for investigating claims of discrimination and sexual harassment, processing reasonable accommodation request, and providing EEO related training to agency employees and other workers.
The work of the NYC DOHMH EEO is to provide a work environment that accepts and respects individual differences and is free of unlawful discrimination.
As the Investigator/Trainer, the selected applicant will Investigate discrimination complaints including interviewing complainant, respondent, and all parties relevant to the complaint. Provide consultation concerning such requests. Provide legal research regarding related legal issues that may arise. Develop classroom and computer-based training which may include training on EEO related case law, statutes, regulations, and legal guidance. Click below the link to apply to full details.
