Health plans must pay $2.79 per enrollee for plan years Oct. 1, 2021-Oct. 1, 2022, an increase over the previous year, the IRS said Tuesday.
Notice 2022-4 sets the amount health plans must pay under the Affordable Care Act to help fund the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, which conducts clinical effectiveness research. The fee for plan years ending on or after Oct. 1, 2020 and before Oct. 1, 2021 was $2.66 per enrollee.
