Gary Shapley on Tuesday claimed to CBS News that the Justice Department had repeatedly blocked off avenues of investigation while he was conducting a looking into Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden. The younger Biden has tentatively reached a plea agreement with the DOJ for two tax misdemeanors. Shapley also claimed that the Justice Department failed to pursue more serious charges.
What could these other charges and avenues have been? Shapley claimed to Fox News’s Bret Baier on Special Report that some unfiled felony charges could have included tax evasion and filing a false return. Shapley also said some lines of investigation that the Justice Department blocked off could potentially have connected President Joe Biden to the case. The Justice Department denies restricting the investigation.
