Former Ndaragwa member of parliament Jeremiah Kioni has said the Mount Kenya region delivered a resounding vote to Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Raila Odinga.

Kioni explained that they have verified that Raila trounced William Ruto in votes cast in Mount Kenya counties.

"Raila Odinga defeated William Ruto in Mt Kenya. Up to now, we have verified that Raila got 2.7 million votes from Mount Kenya and we are not yet done with the verification process. Raila defeated Ruto in Kiambu, Nyeri and Kirinyaga counties," Kioni said.

The Jubilee Party Secretary General said that the whistleblower report brought to light how some elections officials worked in cahoots to rig out the Azimio la Umoja Leader.

In the past week, Kioni spoke to the press saying a whistleblower within the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission shared intriguing evidence of how the electoral agency manipulated votes.
