Jeremy Hartwell's Lawsuit Against Love Is Blind Producers Explained - Screen Rant

Love Is Blind season 2 contestant Jeremy Hartwell sued the team behind the Netflix reality TV show, and it's time to discuss that legal action. He claimed that producers deprived the cast of food, water, and sleep, and plied them with alcohol. The 36-year-old Jeremy was one of 30 hopeful Love Is Blind singles participating in the 2022 season. A director and entrepreneur by profession, he is from Chicago. Jeremy wasn't able to find the love of his life in the pods. His unsuccessful LIB journey meant that he didn't get enough screen time. However, Jeremy is being remembered now, after several contestants described the filming conditions as hellish.

The brand-new Love Is Blind scandal had former cast members, such as Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl, opening up. Briana Holmes quit the show after having a panic attack. The cast films for 20 days, and is under pressure to get engaged within two weeks. They reportedly agree to be filmed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Even if they got a weekly stipend of $1000, they could be fined up to $50,000 for quitting early. The mental health of the cast is apparently compromised, and they must sleep in a single-room trailer for 10 days during their pod experiences. Also, producers are supposedly manipulative.
