Jersey City raising minimum wage for full-time municipal employees to $20 - NJ.com

For the second time in a year, full-time Jersey City employees will be getting a big raise.

Jersey City mayor Steve Fulop announced Thursday that minimum wage for municipal employees is rising by $3 an hour amid growing nationwide inflation.

Full-time Jersey City employees will now be able to earn $20 an hour compared to the state’s current minimum wage of $13 an hour.
