Josh Davies Issues Statement Denying Allegations After Exit From Ingested - The Mosh Network

Former Ingested vocalist Josh Davies has publicly denied allegations of sexual misconduct that surfaced online and ultimately led to his dismissal from the deathcore band last month.

At the time of the split, the group issued a brief statement confirming his removal and announcing a touring replacement:

“Effective immediately, Josh Davies is no longer a member of Ingested. Adam Mercer will be handling vocal duties on the upcoming Bodysnatcher tour.”

Davies addressed the situation today (March 7th) in a lengthy statement posted to Instagram, where he also shared screenshots of messages and other materials that he claims challenge the timeline and context of the accusations made against him.

“I categorically deny all allegations that have been circulated on social media. Any suggestion that I have abused or taken advantage of anyone is completely untrue.”

In his statement, Davies discussed multiple accusations that have circulated online, including one tied to an alleged incident dated July 7th, 2022. He claimed he has documentation showing that he was working earlier in the day, attended a concert later that evening, and returned to work early the following morning.

Davies also addressed claims involving communications with an individual he says he believed was around his own age at the time. According to his statement, he was 21 and says he was unaware the person was under 18 when he initially contacted them.
