NEWFIELDS — A judge has rejected an effort by neighbors to throw out Vernon Family Farm’s countersuit, which accuses them of years of coordinated attempts to undermine the business and “viciously attack” the Vernons’ way of life.
Jeremiah and Nicole Vernon filed the counterclaims after five neighbors sued them in 2024 to stop concerts and agritourism events on their 33‑acre Newfields farm, arguing the activities harmed their quality of life and property values.
