Justice Thomas makes no sense
While appearing at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative educational and lobbying organization, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas stated that the leak of the draft opinion written by Justice Alito, striking down Roe v. Wade, was like an "infidelity" that would cause Americans to distrust the court.
Considering that: the Court usurped the right of the state of Florida to complete the counting of votes in the 2000 presidential election and declared George W. Bush the president; allowed the flood of dark money to corrupt our government when it declared, in Citizens United, that an individual and a corporation were one and the same; and there is a distinct perception that Justice Thomas' stand on issues may very well be influenced by his wife, Ginni, who is the head of a conservative consulting firm; I found his comments ironic, if not hypocritical.

Bureaucracy led to baby formula crisis
The baby formula shortage, with mothers desperately searching for it to feed their babies, is attributable to a lackadaisical response by the Food and Drug Administration, which failed to act expeditiously to a whistleblower's allegations last October that Abbott, the largest producer of baby formula, operated with unsafe conditions and practices.
