These measures follow Kalshi’s initiative to establish a dedicated Advisory Committee in February 2026. After that, the venue introduced restrictions aimed at countering insider trading, which ultimately led to the blocking of certain users.

Kalshi’s new statement indicates that market oversight will become stricter. In particular, when a position is created, the system will assess it across a range of factors. This includes, for example, whether the outcome depends on a single person or a small group of individuals, whether the market meets regulatory requirements, and how significant it is on a global scale.

In addition, to access some positions, traders will be required to provide information about their employer. Kalshi says this will help screen out potential insiders at an early stage. At the same time, the company did not specify whether the restriction will apply to all employees of a given organization or whether it will depend on the role they hold.
