Kanye West reps debunk Skid Row Fashion Week collaboration claims - HITC - Football, Gaming, Movies, TV, Music

False claims recently surfaced on the internet, suggesting that Kanye West was partnering with Skid Row Fashion Week founder to create a joint streetwear production.

Representatives connected to Ye have since debunked the speculations and told The New York Post that no such project is underway.

On Wednesday 26th January 2022, false claims spiralled online that suggested American rapper and fashion designer Kanye West was collaborating with another brand.

The Yeezy owner was reported to be partnering with David Sabastian, founder of a fledgling streetwear brand aiming to help people transition out of homelessness in Los Angeles named Skid Row Fashion Week.

As per reports from TMZ, the artist was co-designing a homeless-influenced clothing line that would debut on 22nd February 2022, as well as an alleged fashion show featuring the inhabitants of LA’s Skid Row as models.

However, the joint streetwear production has now been debunked.

Representatives connected to Kanye West have since told The New York Post that no such project is underway.

A Yeezy GAP spokesperson exclusively told The Post that while Ye is committed to helping the homeless, he isn’t planning on doing it through streetwear anytime soon:
