Kari Lake is showing no signs of conceding more than two days after the Arizona governor race was called in favour of her Democratic rival Katie Hobbs.
The Trump-endorsed Republican took to Twitter on Wednesday night to share a video with Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” over various clips of herself on the campaign trail.
It marked the latest sign that Ms Lake will challenge the election results, which saw Ms Hobbs declared winner on Monday night with 50.4 per cent of the vote count to her opponent’s 49.6 per cent.
Ms Lake immediately denied her projected loss in one of the country’s most closely-watched midterm races, calling the results “BS” and “botched”.
As she rallied supporters to join her challenge to the race call, fewer than 20 protesters turned out for a demonstration outside Arizona’s state capitol on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Ms Hobbs concluded that voters chose “solving our problems over conspiracy theories” and “sanity over chaos”.
