Kia America Inc. is suing a field technical representative in federal court for allegedly misappropriating highly sensitive and trade secret information and property.
Kia claims that current employee Leo McAdams used his access to transfer thousands of files containing the company’s trade secrets, valued “well in excess of $75,000,” as well as an Airbag Control Unit, alleging breach of contract, conversion, and misappropriation of trade secrets under state and federal law.
