Late actress Kim Sae-Ron's mother has released a new statement, reasserting claims that Kim Soo-Hyun dated her when she was a minor. This comes as Queen of Tears star's side continues to deny all allegations. Kim Soo-Hyun has been embroiled in a dating scandal with Kim Sae-Ron ever since she was found dead at her apartment on February 16, 2025.
On November 25, Allkpop reported an official press statement from Sae-Ron's mother, where she emphasised that acquaintances of the late actress had given specific testimonies. She even included a transcript of the acquaintances' statements along with a claim of a memo written by Kim Sae-Ron on September 28, 2017, before Kim Soo-Hyun’s military enlistment. She insisted that the memo shows her daughter and the actor were already dating prior to that date.

Our case is currently under investigation. Authorities advised all parties involved to refrain from engaging with the media, and we have respected their recommendation.
