Knight Transportation Inc. and truck drivers who say it violated wage-and-hour laws may move forward with a $400,000 deal after they revised claims-release language at the request of a federal judge.

The proposed settlement, amended after the US District Court for the Eastern District of California questioned a provision releasing claims regardless of whether they were related to the complaint’s allegations, addresses all prior concerns, Magistrate Judge Sheila K. Oberto said.
