KPMG lawyer accuses partners of lying to cover up data scandal - AFR
The KPMG lawyer tasked with first investigating claims the firm was using confidential client files to win contracts has accused partners of misleading him and hampering his work as they sought to cover up their wrongdoing.
The firm’s deputy general counsel James McClelland claimed that KPMG partners, who he did not name, essentially lied to him in explosive testimony before a parliamentary hearing into the scandal in Canberra on Friday.
