KPMG Australia withheld information from law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie when it asked the firm to investigate allegations of misconduct in KPMG's audit division, prompting Ashurst to advise that the KPMG staff member who raised the allegations was not entitled to legal protections for whistleblowers.
