Kris Jenner is escalating her legal battle with Ray J, accusing him of targeting her daughter, Kim Kardashian, in a sustained pattern of public statements that she says have stretched across two decades.
In a newly filed declaration in an ongoing defamation case obtained by TMZ, the momager explains why she decided to pursue legal action.
According to the filing, the decision came after repeated claims by Ray J that she says are false and damaging. Among them are allegations suggesting that she and Kardashian were under federal investigation—something Jenner directly denies.
“I have never been accused or charged with a crime,” Jenner states in the document, adding that comparisons to serious criminal allegations are “a horrific lie.”
The filing centers on Jenner’s assertion that Ray J has continued to revisit his past relationship with Kardashian in public forums. The two dated from 2003 to 2006, a period that later became widely discussed following the 2007 release of a private sex tape recorded during their relationship.
Kardashian previously took legal action against Vivid Entertainment and reached a reported $5 million settlement, allowing distribution of the footage.
