LabCorp paying $2.1M to settle False Claims Act allegations - Seeking Alpha

  • LabCorp (NYSE:LH) has agreed to pay $2.1M to settle allegations from the US Department of Justice that it overbilled the Defense Department for genetic tests conducted by GeneDx.
  • The settlement is not an admission of liability, LabCorp said, Bloomberg reported.
  • Also, the settlement is not an indication that the government's allegations are not well founded.
